The glass surface stress meter is mainly used to measure the surface stress of chemically strengthened and physically strengthened glass. Its principle is to use photoelastic method and birefringence principle. This machine is equipped with a computer, which can reduce the error of the measurer and facilitate the management of measurement data. Abundant interfaces, expandable automatic drip system, thickness measurement system, and automatic measurement.

Determination wavelength
1. Visible light (596nm)
characteristic:
Standard type. It is the wavelength close to D line, the refractive index of glass material, and the information of photoelastic constant can be easily obtained.
 
Measurement example:
Chemical strengthened glass (KNO3 strengthened once)

2. Infrared IR (790nm)
characteristic:
The number of effective stripes detected is very small. It is found that many stripes are too many to read correctly.

3. UV (365nm)
characteristic:
Compared with visible light, the number of stripes increases by 1.5 times. Effectively improve the situation that the number of stripes is too small to be measured normally
