Surface stress meter Inspection Operation Instructions

1. Plug in the power supply of the instrument and make the small bulb light up through the transformer;

2. Drop a few drops of refractive index oil on the bottom of the prism;

3. Determine the tin dipping surface of the tested glass, and gently place the instrument on the surface;

4. At the distance of 100 ㎜ from the long side, the measuring point leads two parallel lines parallel to the long side, and intersects with the diagonal line at four points. These four points and the center point of the product geometry are the measuring points;

5. If the length of the short side of the product is less than 300 mm, two parallel lines parallel to the short side and the center line intersect at two points at a distance of 100 mm from the short side. These two points and the center point of the product geometry are the measuring points;

6. First, adjust the eyepiece to see the clear scribed line of the reticle in the field of view;

7. Respectively adjust the position of the small bulb and the shutter to the highest position, and then gradually reduce the height of the bulb (each time the adjustment range of the bulb lifting adjustment button is about half a circle). After adjustment, slowly adjust the mirror adjustment button back and forth and pay attention to observe the eyepiece field of view, repeat the above steps until a clear step pattern is seen in the eyepiece field of view;

8. Adjust the micrometer eyepiece so that the coordinate line in the field of view is aligned with the upper end of the step on the horizontal axis first. At this time, read and record the reading on the micrometer eyepiece, Then move the horizontal axis of the coordinate line to the lower end of the step and read the current reading on the micrometer eyepiece and make a difference with the previous reading (if the second reading is less than the first reading, first add 100 to the second reading and then make a difference with the first reading. Sometimes there are multiple steps in the field of view, take the clearest group in the field of view for measurement), The difference obtained is the measured step height d;

9. The surface stress value of the measured glass is obtained by multiplying the constant K of the surface stress meter by the step height d.

10. The basic calculation formula is: F=d × KF, the stress value of the measured glass (MPa); D Step height (mm) read from the micrometer eyepiece K Instrument constant (300MPa/mm).

11. The measurement result is the arithmetic mean of the measured values at each measuring point;

12. The surface stress of tempered glass shall not be less than 90Mpa;

13. Take the product as the sample, and take three samples for test. If all of them meet the requirements, they are qualified. If two of them do not meet the requirements, they are unqualified. If two of them meet the requirements, three more samples are added. If all of them meet the requirements, they are qualified.
